Hej allihopa!
This meeting is about improving and keeping up our language skills by chatting with locals and travellers. This time you ll find us in Hurtigs konditori at Drottninggatan 90A from 16:00 till 19:00.
We all know that knowing languages often comes in handy during times of travel or work abroad, now is time to brush up our skills! We will form small groups according to which languages people wish to practice and chat away!
The language selection available depends on the participants: Swedish has been the most popular language so far but there are also experts of many other languages, such as English, German, Spanish, Italian, French or Russian in most of our meetings. Sometimes Turkish and Arabic are in demand :).
You can mention which language you know or wish to practice as a comment when you sign up!
This meeting is not a language lesson but everyone is welcome to join - to speak and share your native language if not any other!
Sometimes, we have an additional activity for those who are interested such as a card game, which is mostly held in Swedish/English. It is fun! We are open to other interesting activities as well, so if you wish to play you are welcome to bring your favorite board game with you :)<br dolt nummer /a>

When and where to find us depends on the weather - our e v e r y thing in Sweden!
Take the metro to Hötorget T-bana, exit (utgång) Olof Palmes gata, take Olof Palmes gata to the left to Drottninggatan, then turn right and go to Hurtigs Konditori at Drottninggatan 90A. We can be found in the further corner of konditori under a round ceiling with a natural light coming from it. However if the weather is not too cold we can be sitting at the tables in front of the konditori.
But if the weather is super ! duper ! fantastic !, you can find us in a nearby park which is called Tegnerlunden (you can see some monument there) sitting on the grass and catching sun rays. So, if weather is great it is advisable to bring with you a blanket ( filt på svenska) and some food and refreshments for yourself.
It is easy to walk from Hurtigs Konditori to Tegnérlunden park, you just continue North on Drottninggatan, turn left on Tegnérgatan, park will be there at crossing of Tegnérgatan and Tegnérlunden.
